Home Intruder Showers, Then Calls Cops On Himself
After showering in a house that was not his a 24-year-old Oregon man locked himself in a bathroom and called the cops on himself, CNN.com reported March 8, 2011.
The homeowner, who was accompanied by two German shepherds, discovered the intruder and asked him “what he was doing” in the bathroom. Then, fearing the homeowner had a gun, Timothy James Chapek locked the door and “politely called 911,” according to Huffington Post. The homeowner also made an emergency call.
Later, with their own dog, Portland’s finest arrived at the house in Washington Park, Portland, where according to the Oregonian Chapek was arrested “without incident.”
